Fall seven times, stand up eight. – Japanese Proverb

When You Feel Pulled Down
What really pulls us down are the things that once pulled us up!
It isn’t the things we haven’t had or experienced that pulls us down. It’s the things that we once had, and the possessions we once treasured that we are burdened with.
We are burdened with the memories of the people we’ve loved and lost.
We are pulled down by the things we’ve had back in the good old days.
We are weighed down by our failures, by the things we did but did not work out the way we wanted them to.
“I’ve tried everything,” is much more painful than not being able to try anything at all. Beneath those words is that feeling of exhaustion, and sometimes, of hopelessness, because if we have already tried everything, what else is left for us to do?
And that is why it is harder to get up after a fall than to rise up without any memory of pain. We’re afraid to try again. We’re afraid to have tried our very best only to know that even our best is still not enough.
A child oftentimes seem more courageous than older people because he hasn’t been hurt as much. His hope is full of all the wonderful things he feels he can still do. His memory is not yet burdened with failures and doubts.
But the one who is really more courageous is the person who rises up despite of his many falls. It is being able to go on despite the hurt, and to move forward despite losing much of his hope.
When one is trapped between his approaching enemies and a dead-end leading only to a vast open sea, his hope is almost nil. But if he could still pray and believe that even there, God can save him and make a way, he has already achieved victory and much courage. For that man, even the seas will be parted to make way for his faith!

ISIS killer Jihadi John ‘radicalized by UK govt,’ claims charity

The British intelligence service MI5 had been keeping track of Emwazi since 2008, three years after the attempt by a group of western militants on July 21, 2005 to carry out terrorist attacks on British soil, the
report revealed.Mohammed Enwazi, the Islamic State terrorist known as “Jihadi John,” was identified by British intelligence but allowed to escape to Syria. It was also revealed that he had links to the failed 21/7 attacks in London, the Observer reports.
Emwazi was a “person of interest” for MI5 as he was a member of a London based jihadi cell that had been set up to recruit militants. Security services were aware that Emwazi had a telephone conversation with Hussein Osman on the day of the 21/7 planned attacks, who was later jailed for life for planting a bomb in a London underground station.
The planned assaults came just two weeks after the worst terrorist attacks to have hit the UK, when 52 people were killed on July 7, 2005.
Despite clearly being on the radar of the British intelligence services, Emwazi, who was born in Kuwait and travelled to the UK as a child with his family was able to avoid detection and eventually escape to Syria in 2013.
“Given the numbers who appear to have ‘slipped through the net’, it is legitimate to ask, how many more people must die before we start to look more closely at the strategy of our intelligence services?” said the former Shadow Home Secretary David Davis, writing in the Guardian on Friday.
Emwazi, who was a computer programming graduate of the University of Westminster and lived in Queen’s Park, West London, is thought to have killed American journalist James Foley. The killing was shown in a video released last August.

He is further believed to have featured in the videos of the beheadings of US journalist Steven Sotloff, British aid worker David Haines, British taxi driver Alan Henning, and US aid worker Abdul-Rahman Kassig, also known as Peter.
It has also emerged that the Kuwaiti-born terrorist said that he was feeling the pressure of being under constant surveillance from British authorities. In a series of emails to the Mail on Sunday newspaper in December 2010 and 2011, he said how the pressure of being watched was getting to him.
“I’ll take as many pills as I can so that I will sleep for ever,” he said in an email to the newspapers Security Editor Robert Verkaik, adding that he felt, “like a dead man walking.”
He also claimed he was a victim of police brutality in his correspondence with the journalist, saying he was interrogated by an officer, who threw him against a wall, grabbed his beard and throttled him, the Mail on Sunday reported. Subsequently, he made a complaint to the Independent Police Complaints Commission about his ordeal.
The shadow home secretary, Yvette Cooper, has called for an urgent review into whether the UK government’s decision to relax counter-terrorism laws had played a role in allowing Emwazi to be able to escape detection and eventually flee to travel to Syria and join the so-called Islamic State extremists (formerly ISIS/ISIL).

“We need to know whether Theresa May’s decision to ignore all our warnings and weaken counter-terror powers has made it easier to organise and recruit for Isil.
“Suggestions of possible links between those carrying out atrocities on behalf of ISIL, and those behind the 21/7 planned attack on London, are very concerning,” Cooper said, the Observer reported.
While the man known as Jihadi John continues to be a part of Islamic State, it has also emerged that his family members in Kuwait have come under surveillance from the local authorities.
"Security agencies have taken the necessary measures to monitor them round the clock," the Al-Qabas newspaper said, citing an "informed source,” which was reported by AFP.
The Al-Rai newspaper, which also cited security sources mentioned that Emwazi's father, Jassem Abdulkareem, who is also a British citizen, is currently in Kuwait and is expected to be questioned by the authorities concerning his son.

'Buhari Guilty Of Human Rights Abuse In 2011 -PDP Campaign The Presidential campaign office of President Goodluck Jonathan said in Abuja on Sunday that the Presidential Candidate of the All Progressives Congress, Maj. Gen. Muhammadu Buhari(retd.), must answer to charges of alleged human rights abuse over the 2011 presidential election. It said that there was no way Buhari, who was then the presidential candidate of the defunct Congress for Progressives Change, could exonerate himself from the crisis that followed the 2011 presidential election which was won by President Jonathan. Director of Media and Publicity of the PDP Presidential Campaign Organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, stated this at a press briefing in Abuja on Sunday. He said lawyers from Netherlands have already filled a case before the International Criminal Court, at The Hague. He also said his party and its presidential candidate were not afraid of Buhari in the forthcoming presidential election. He said he was sure that President Jonathan was going to triumph over the retired general at the poll. Fani-Kayode said, “And after Buhari’s rejection at the poll, he may have to prepare to face charges of human rights abuses and criminality filed against him before the International Criminal Court on account of the 2011 electoral violence in Nigeria. “According to the African Herald Express report on the issue published on February 20, 2015, Dutch lawyers– Prakken d’Oliveira, a Human Rights Law Firm based in Amsterdam, said it had filed a criminal complaint against Buhari at the ICC. Prakken d’ Oliveira, led by Prof. Sluiter, Lawyer and Partner, is said to be acting on behalf of the Nigerian Northern Coalition for Democracy and Justice and two individual victims. “The complaint, according to the report, alleges that Buhari incited and orchestrated the electoral violence in Nigeria in 2011, which led to the violent murder of over 938 and 735 injured, many of them children, women and young men.” The complaint, the report further said, “presents factual evidence, including the names and descriptions of a sampling of those who lost their lives in the violence.” He said these include youth corpers who were killed in Giade, Bauchi State, in the 2011 post-election violence. While alleging that the Chatham House outing was organised only two days before it took place and well after Buhari had arrived in London, he also added that questions that were asked were given to him two days before the event and the answers were prepared for him and given to him to rehearse. Netanyahu Was Going To Strike Iran Until Obama Threatened To Shoot Down Israeli Jets

The Israeli prime minister was planning to strike Iran in 2014, according to a Kuwaiti newspaper.
Following Obama’s threat, Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu was reportedly forced to abort the planned Iran attack.
According to Al-Jarida, the Netanyahu government took the decision to strike Iran some time in 2014 soon after Israel had discovered the United States and Iran had been involved in secret talks over Iran’s nuclear program and were about to sign an agreement in that regard behind Israel’s back.
The report claimed that an unnamed Israeli minister who has good ties with the US administration revealed the attack plan to Secretary of State John Kerry, and that Obama then threatened to shoot down the Israeli jets before they could reach their targets in Iran.
Al-Jarida quoted “well-placed” sources as saying that Netanyahu, along with Minister of Defense Moshe Yaalon, and then-Foreign Minister Avigdor Liberman, had decided to carry out airstrikes against Iran’s nuclear program after consultations with top security commanders.

Fayose Asks Nigerians To Save Buhari From Tinubu

The Ekiti State Governor, Mr Ayodele Fayose, has called on Nigerians, especially Northern leaders to save the presidential candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC) General Muhammadu Buhari (Rtd) from former Lagos State governor, Senator Bola Tinubu and his cabal in the APC.

In a statement by Governor Fayose’s Special Assistant on Public Communications and New Media, Lere Olayinka, the Governor said he was worried that Tinubu and his cabal were pushing General Buhari too much because of their selfish interests and pleaded that; “Nigerians should appeal to Tinubu and his cabal to allow Buhari attend properly to his health”.
“Not The Candidate Of The North”
“Since last week Thursday that Buhari appeared for less than two hours at the Chatham House, where his doctors certified him fit, returning to Nigeria for the ‘final onslaught on the PDP,’ he has simply disappeared from public glare.
“Isn’t it strange that someone who is contesting an election in 28 days time could afford to stay outside the country for about two weeks?
“Buhari confessed that he actually saw his doctors, why did the APC cabal lie that he never visited any hospital, even going to the ridiculous and criminal level of using pictures taken in Abuja to authenticate claim that Buhari had a television interview in London?
“Like I have maintained, the same cabal that were involved in the Yar’Adua saga are also involved the packaging of Buhari and Nigerians must save the man from these people, who are only interested in using him to assume power,”Governor Fayose said.
While maintaining that Buhari was not the candidate of the north, Fayose aske: “Shouldn’t it interest Nigerians, especially the Northerners that only Malam Nasir El-Rufai was a Northerner among those who attended the last Thursday’s Chatham House event”?
The statement further read: “During the APC primary, delegates from the North voted for former Vice President, Atiku Abubakar and Governor Rabiu Kwankwaso. Only delegates controlled by Tinubu, Governor Rotimi Amaechi and Senator Bukola Saraki voted for Buhari.”
“In appreciation of Tinubu’s role, Buhari gave him (Tinubu) the sole right to choose his running mate, with Tinubu still being rumored to be interested in the Vice President position that he gave his surrogate, Prof Yemi Osinbajo.
“Also, the APC confirmed yesterday that Buhari’s campaign is being funded by Tinubu and Amaechi.
“All these point to the fact that Tinubu and his cabal have a sinister agenda against the North, which they want to use Buhari to achieve”.
He further urged leaders in the north to intervene and free Buhari from the APC cabal now because, insisting that “General Buhari needs to take proper and adequate care of himself medically”.
