“I Reserve My Comments Till After February 14 Election” – Obasanjo

“I Reserve My Comments Till After February 14 Election” – Obasanjo
Former president, Chief Olusegun Obasanjo, has said he would reserve his comments concerning the state of the nation until a winner emerges in the February 14th presidential election.
Obasanjo who made the comment at Olusegun Obasanjo Presidential Library (OOPL), Abeokuta, while meeting with some royal fathers from Egba Traditional Council who were attending a seminar on how to generate wealth from waste said he had made enough comments as regards the coming elections in speech and body language.
The former president stated that if anyone was still expecting his comments on national issues, the person probably has not been around for sometime now.
“If anybody is still looking for me to comment, the person has probably not been around for sometime now,” he said.
He emphasized that Nigeria is blessed with both human and material resources insisting that “It takes right people and political will to change things around”.
He lamented a situation, where civil servants and teachers were being owed several months’ salaries, with specific reference to Benue State, wondering why it should be so.
“I have spoken enough. Our efforts start February 14th. We should go and vote that day and vote right. I will talk after the election,” he said
