The Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) presidential campaign organisation yesterday challenged the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, to take a brisk walk or jog around a stadium before any of his rallies to prove his medical fitness.
However, the campaign team failed to produce any evidence to back up their claims that Buhari is not fit to be president on health grounds.
Addressing a press conference yesterday, the director of media and publicity of the presidential campaign organisation, Chief Femi Fani-Kayode, said the days of hiding things are over.
He noted that while no person in his right senses will wish the APC presidential candidate dead, the health status of Buhari is a major issue.
Fani-Kayode further noted while they have not made any assertions other than for Buhari “to engender confidence in Nigerians that he is fit.”
