Official Age :Jonathan's Real Age Is Not 57
The new investigation based on the publicly available information disputes the “official age” of President Goodluck Jonathan.According to the public service documents, Jonathan was born in 1957 and turned 57 November 20, 2014.
However a new finding suggests that the President is over 60, which is confirmed by information provided in a book on history.Naij.com received a study by guest contributor Dr. Peregrino Brimah, who after having found one of Jonathan’s earlier speeches suspected that the country leader might older than provided.Speaking in 2011 during his Christmas Carol address, President Jonathan said:“I remember the day I was chatting with a group of elders and they said after the war there was electricity everywhere, they travelled out and so on. I came to live in Port Harcourt in 1955.
Even then, it was only Port Harcourt that had electricity, even the big cities, Bonny. But now, government must make sure even the smallest village and settlements have electricity light.”It turns out that not only did GEJ come to Rivers State before his birth, but he also had a cognitive ability to recognize electricity and to recollect this recognition.
Thus Dr. Brimah concludes that he was at least 5 in 1955 as such intellectual ability is characteristic of this age.Interestingly in a book titled “World History” by US former Foreign Service officer and Professor of History at Penn State University, William J. Duiker, the author says that in reality Jonathan was born in 1951.It means the politician is currently 63, which is basically close to Brimah’s calculations. See the

At 11.00 a.m. on Wednesday April 10, 1985. Bartholomew Owoh (26), Lawal Akanni Ojulope (30) and Bernard Ogedegbe (29) were executed by a Firing Squad at Kirikiri prison, Lagos.
The three along with one woman, Gladys Caroline Inyama, were convicted by the Justice Adebayo Desalu led military tribunal for contravening the provisions of Decree Number 20.
The fact that all 3 men and 1 woman were apprehended before the Decree was promulgated was immaterial, all 4 were found guilty.
On the day of their execution in front of a large crowd, the three men were tied to the stake in front of barrels painted in the colors of the Nigerian flag.

“I was convicted without reasonable doubt. I was charged for being in possession of cocaine. But now the warrant of death reads ‘dealing in cocaine’, this is very unfair.”
On his part, father of four, Lawal Akanni Ojulope had no shoes, and clutched tightly to his Islamic prayer beads, he said nothing.
Six soldiers took aim, two assigned to each man. After the first volley, Ogedebe slumped to the right, Owoh slumped forward, Ojulope did too, but not before his fila fell off his head. All men were dead.
However, the firing squad kept shooting.

The three men would not have been executed if their sentences were not approved by the 16 man Supreme Military Council led by Muhammadu Buhari.
The only reason they were brutally executed is because Buhari wanted their deaths to serve as a warning to others that his administration meant business.
29 years later, Buhari has shown no remorse and has not apologized for his diabolical decision.

Serena Williams won her 19th Grand Slam title, continued her unbeaten run in six Australian Open finals and extended her decade-long domination of Maria Sharapova with a 6-3, 7-6 (5) win on Saturday.
After celebrating prematurely on her third match point, letting her racket go after serving what she thought was an ace but learning that it was a let, top-ranked Williams took a deep breath and fired another ace — her 15th of the set and 18th of the match — to seal it.
This time, the celebration was real. She jumped around like a little child, bouncing up and down, before shaking hands with Sharapova at the net. Yahoo
We Can't Arrest Tompolo, Dokubo If No One is Complaining
The Nigerian police has stated that they are studying the threats made by ex-militants concerning the elections, specifically their promise to declare war if President Jonathan loses the presidential election.
The force said that it would take action when the time is ripe.
However when asked on Friday what the police was going to do about the threat, Emmanuel Ojukwu, the force PRO said:
“We have not taken action because there is no report or complaint before the police; no one has lodged a complaint on the issue, but we are studying the situation and would take the necessary step at the right time.”
Meanwhile, the Minister of interior, Abba Moro has said: “It is reprehensible for people to threaten this country with mayhem and violence should their candidate lose the elections. The President of the Federal Republic of Nigeria, Dr. Goodluck Jonathan, has not left anybody in doubt as to his preparedness to conduct a free, fair, credible and transparent election.
“Mr. President has said that in the unlikely event of his losing the election, in the course of this exercise, that he is straight man enough, he was democratic enough to concede defeat.
“And so if Mr President himself, who is the main contestant in this election, who is the President of this country, who is the leader of the PDP, has come out to say that he was going to ensure free and fair elections, where the choice of Nigerians would be respected, I do not see where statements from the supporters of either Mr. President or any other political parties for that matter should derail the course of this democratic movement.”
Jonathan to Buhari: You do not fight corruption by throwing people into jail
The President, however, tongue lashed the presidential candidate of the APC, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, saying that the former head of state wanted power to throw people into jail as was the case in 1983, when he threw into jail, Igbo politicians like the former Vice President, Alex Ekwueme, the former governors of old Anambra and Imo States, Chief Jim Nwobodo and late Chief Sam Mbakwe respectively among others out of sheer wickedness.
His words, ‘’Chief Alex Ekwueme; Sam Mbakwe were all thrown to jail by Buhari. Chief Jim Nwobodo was jailed 301 years before the successive administration released him. Corruption is fought by blocking loop h***s where public funds are looted from.
“We are fighting corruption through Information Commun-ication Technology,ICT. Our method is technology driven. We have changed the way we do government businesses. The fertiliser distribution scheme, which go directly to farmers is a key example.
“We have also modernised the system of salary disbursement through technology. This is one of the ways we are fighting corruption in the system. You do not fight it by locking people in Kirikiri and closing down their businesses. That is why the economy collapsed under Buhari’s watch.
GENDER FRIENDLY
Jonathan urged women in the country to vote for his re-election, saying that Buhari never appointed a woman in his cabinet as military head of state.
He however, commended the Peoples Democratic Party,PDP, governorship candidate in Enugu State Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi for towing his line by being a gender friendly governorship candidate.
Cecelia Ezeilo is the running mate of Ugwuanyi.
“Buhari never appointed any woman into his cabinet. Our women had all the qualifications and experience at that time. If you make the mistake of voting him, you will not be liberated. You will remain in the kitchen and die,’’ he said.
INFRASTRUCTURE DEVELOPMENT
Jonathan enumerated the achievements of his administration in the south-east geopolitical zone especially Enugu State to include the upgrading of the Akanu-Ibiam Airport to an international status saying that the airport would commence full international operations in 18 months.
“I visited the international terminal as I landed. I told the contractor handling the project to shorten the completion time so that our people who are commerce driven can fly to any part of the world from Enugu. We have flagged off the Enugu-Port Harcourt inter-city passenger mass transit train quiet recently.
“We have completed over 2,000 kilometres of roads in the region and built irrigation dams that will boost agriculture in the area. Our auto-mobile policies have been friendly that is why Innosson and ANAMMCO are now rearing up their heads; assembling cars in the state.
PVCs
The President assured Nigerians that the Independent National Electoral Commission, INEC, had been directed to issue Permanent Voters’ Cards, PVCs, to all registered voters nationwide to enable all voters exercise their franchise during the forthcoming election.

Missouri Man Charged With Hate Crime For Telling Black Waitress He Would Take Her Where He “Hung” Her Grandpa (DETAILS)
Challenging post-racial believers everywhere, a white Missouri man is in some serious trouble after telling a black waitress that he would like to take her to the place where he “hung” her grandfather.
That man, 65-year-old Tommy Dean Gaa of Maryville, was charged with felony assault motivated by discrimination for confronting the woman as she served him breakfast on Jan. 25.
According to the Maryville Daily Forum, the waitress asked Gaa if he wanted white or wheat toast. Enter the obvious racial dig.
“…Gaa allegedly responded by saying, “I’m prejudiced. I’ll take white.” Moments later, Gaa is said to have approached the employee, allegedly grabbing her arm in a manner that caused bruising and asking her if she “liked to party.” According to the probable cause statement, Gaa then allegedly said, “I have a place I would like to take you where I hung your grandpa.”
Gaa initially denied making the statements, but later admitted that he committed some, not all, of the acts listed in the report.
According to the officer’s report, Gaa “volunteered” a comment about there being “good and bad” people of different races, and in doing so uttered a highly offensive term for people of African descent.
He was later released from the Nodaway County Jail on $4,900 bond.

FG condemns Dokubo, Tompolo over war threats, Danjuma demands Their arrest
The Federal Government officially reacted on Thursday to the war threat by ex- Niger Delta militants, saying it was reprehensible.
The condemnation came barely a day after a former Minister of Defence, Lt.Gen. Theophilus Danjuma, called for their arrest and seven days after the ex-militants made the threat at the Government House in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State.
The ex-militants - Mujahiden Dokubo-Asari, Government Ekpemupolo (aka Tompolo), Victor Ebikabowei (aka Boyloaf) and others - had at the end of a meeting attended by Bayelsa State Governor Seriake Dickson, said, 'For every Goliath, God created a David. For every Pharaoh, there is a Moses. We are going to war. Every one of you should go and fortify yourself.'
But as the Federal Government, through the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro, cautioned against inflammatory remarks, unrepentant Ekpemupolo, said Danjuma was the one that should be arrested by security operatives.
The minister, at a news conference in Abuja, said that there was no basis for the ex-militants to be beating war drums since President Goodluck Jonathan had said he would concede defeat if he lost the February 14 presidential election.
He said, 'It is reprehensible for people to threaten this country with mayhem should their candidate lose the election . The President, Dr. Jonathan, has not left anybody in doubt as to his preparedness to conduct a free, fair, credible and transparent election.
'Mr. President has said that in the unlikely event of his losing the election, in the course of this exercise, that he was straight man enough, he was democratic enough to concede defeat.
'So, if Mr. President himself, who is the main contestant, who is the President of this country, who is the leader of the PDP(Peoples Democratic Party) has come out to say that he was going to ensure free and fair elections where the choice of Nigerians would be respected, I do not see where statements from supporters of either Mr. President or any political party for that matter should derail the course of this democratic movement.'
The minister, who said that the anxiety over the elections was unwarranted, stressed that the Federal Government was determined to conduct hitch-free elections.
He added that security agencies had been sufficiently mobilised for the elections.
Shortly after Moro spoke, Ekpemupolo, in a statement by his Media Adviser, Paul Bebenimibo, wondered why Danjuma, who did not condemn the stoning of Jonathan's convoy in Katsina and Bauchi states, would want them arrested.
He asked, 'Is Gen. Danjuma not aware of the peaceful atmosphere when Gen. Buhari visited Delta, Rivers and Bayelsa states for campaign? Why is it that President Jonathan's convoy was attacked in Kastina and Bauchi states without any provocation?
'Where was this so-called statesman when the APC campaign Director General, Mr. Rotimi Amaechi, threatened to form a parallel government if Jonathan wins the 2015 elections?'
Ekpemupolo said that Danjuma should be reminded that the treaty that brought the Southern and Northern Protectorates together in 1914, expired last year.
He added, 'Let Gen. Danjuma and his cohorts know that they will not see any Ijaw man, Igbo and others to fight on their side if the war that they are planning breaks out.
'And finally, Gen. Danjuma and his cohorts should know that I remain resolute on my position in Yenagoa, Bayelsa State, that President Goodluck Jonathan must win this election for Nigeria to continue to stay together.'
Ohaneze Ndigbo also faulted Danjuma and called on him to worry himself more with ending the destructive activities of Boko Haram in the North-East.
The Secretary General of the group, Joe Nworgu, told one of our correspondents on the telephone that the arrest of Ekpemupolo and Dokubo-Asari was not the solution to the security problem in the country.
He said, 'They should prevail on all those behind the insurgency in the North to stop. Let them do that and not to call for the arrest of people who are merely issuing verbal threats.
'The group they armed are destabilising the country. Their men are already armed and fighting and embarrassing the country. These ones are only issuing verbal threats.
'Luckily, Danjuma is in charge of the relief funds for victims of the insurgency. He is in a better position to know those that should be cautioned.'
Nworgu enjoined those perpetrating violence to realise that no single group of individuals had the monopoly of violence.
But the Northern Elders Forum has declared support for the call by Danjuma.
The forum's spokesperson, Prof. Ango Abdullahi, said in a telephone interview with The PUNCH, 'It makes a lot of sense. It serves as a wake-up call for people who are derelict of their duties.
'If somebody (in the security services) is asleep, he should wake up and do his job that is all Gen. Danjuma is saying.'
Abdullahi dismissed allegations that the former minister was being partisan by not speaking up when similar statements were made by some northerners.
He said, 'That's absolute rubbish, it does not make sense to make such claims. This is not the first time they (ex-Niger Delta militants) are issuing such threats; It has been going on for some time and nobody has cautioned them.
'If you look at the environment and venue where they make such comments you cannot connect it directly to those who are responsible for it. People have been calling for this (arrest) for a long time.'
The Yoruba socio-political group, Afenifere, has also cautioned those beating the drums of war to refrain from doing so as it threatens the survival of the country.
Secretary of the group, Chief Seinde Arogbofa, said in Akure that the former militants and Boko Haram insurgents were taking issues to the extreme.
He said, 'That is not the part of democracy. Although they were reacting to the attack on the President when he went to campaign in the north, it is not sufficient to begin to talk about war.
'Even the President will not accept that. He would not want the country to break in his hands.
'What the former militants should be doing is to campaign effectively for the President so that he becomes President.'

Revelations about Nigeria’s Most Corrupt Person, Bola Tinubu – PDP
A group identified as Committee On Equity and Justice has unearthed what it described as corrupt manner in which APC leader, Bola Tinubu whom it named the Nigeria’s most corrupt person, amassed wealth.
The group disclosed that Number 4, Oyinkan Abayomi (formerly Queens) Drive, Ikoyi: A 5-bedroom detached house on one acre of land which was originally the Lagos State Governor’s guest house since 1979 now belongs to Tinubu. The certificate of occupancy of the property valued at N450 million was signed and released to him by Fashola in 2007 shortly after he assumed office. Tinubu’s residence at 26 Bourdillon Road, Ikoyi was initially falsely presented as Oando Plc Guest House. Later, he purportedly bought it from Oando, and used public funds to rebuild and renovate it. The Lagos State Government bought the property and paid an undisclosed sum to him and thereafter gave the property back to him under the bogus Pension Bill he signed to law shortly before he left office in 2007. The property is worth over N600 million
The annex of the Lagos State Guest House in Asokoro, Abuja was bought by the State Government in 2006 for N450 million, purportedly to protect the main house from security breach.
Shortly after Tinubu left office, the property was transferred to him under the pension plan he signed into law before leaving office. The 250-hectare land valued at about N35billion and strategically located at the Ajah junction on Lekki Road was initially meant for a General Hospital for the people of Eti-Osa Local Government but was stolen by Tinubu and handed over to Trojan Estate Ltd – a company owned by Deji and Wale Tinubu – to develop as Royal Garden Housing Estate at the expense of taxpayers money.
The 1,000 hectares of land valued at about N75billion located at Lakowe near Abijo at Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and given to Lekki Concession Company (LCC) which is partly- owned by Tinubu and Fashola and being developed as golf course and housing estate by Assets and Resource Management Ltd (ARM) as ADIVA project. The prime land of 157 hectares with 2.5km of Atlantic beachfront valued at about N10billion and stolen by Tinubu from the communities of Siriwon, Igbekodo, Apakin, etc in Ibeju-Lekki Local Government and given to Ibukun Fakeye – his crony to build a golf course and luxury villa with little or no compensation to the villagers. In addition, Tinubu paid $20million (N3billion) out of public treasury to Ibukun Fakeye to commence the project in late 2006. Fashola has since released additional funding for this project, which is not owned by the state government.
The 14-hectare Parkview Ikoyi Estate foreshore land reclaimed by Lagos State Government is now owned by Bola Tinubu. While in office, Bola Tinubu allocated to himself the former Strabag yard beside the Lagos State Secretariat at Alausa, Ikeja. The property is now being occupied by Shoprite.
This is public property brazenly stolen and now owned by Tinubu, aided by Fashola. He acquired the choice property at Lekki-Epe road on which he built and owns the multi-billion Naira Oriental Hotel and the extension of multi-storey car park beside it. Also, the multi-level recreation centre by Mobil in Oniru Estate on Lekki-Epe road jointly owned with ARM and Tunji Olowolafe. All these assets valued at over N25billion were obtained without paying a kobo to the Lagos State Government.
The 3.8-hectare of land of Lagos State Fisheries office in VI (beside the Institute of Oceanography) valued at N3billion. The fishery landing jetty at Badore (where the Ilubirin fishermen were to be relocated) valued at N500million The entire Ogudu foreshore scheme initially earmarked for a low-cost housing scheme valued at N5billion The Ilubinrin housing estate (which used to house Lagos state civil servants and judges up till 2007) valued at N2.5billion. The former Julius Berger yard at Oko Orisan, Epe valued at N450 million.
Alhaji Ahmed Tinubu raised a loan of N4.7billion on Eko Akete project for which nothing was achieved before he turned around to sell the property to his Chagouri friends of Chagouri & Chagouri and Hitech Construction Ltd at a ridiculously low price at the expense of the taxpayers of Lagos. Tinubu applied to personally purchase the Federal Secretariat building while in office. When he couldn’t get to buy it, he directed Fashola to stop the eventual owner of the complex to develop it. The complex is presently wasting away courtesy of the Lagos State Government.
Alhaji Ahmed Tinubu converted all the plots of land where Lagos Polytechnic was located at Ikosi near the old toll gate. He chased away the Polytechnic in 2006 and went ahead to locate the choice plots to himself, his cronies and political associates. The headquarters of Television Continental (TVC), which is owned by him, is located there. He deprived the youths of Lagos of decent education because of his greed. Tinubu solely sold the prime land on Aboyade Cole, Victoria Island which was recovered from some allotees, to UACN Properties Plc. The amount of proceeds till date, was shrouded in secrecy.
The Critical Care unit at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital (LASUTH) in Ikeja, built and equipped with state funds, is now owned personally by Tinubu. He has put one of his trusted aides, (a supposed cousin of his) to run the outfit. It is run as a private unit and the proceeds are pocketed by the duo. The unit charges its users exorbitantly and most Lagosians can hardly afford to pay its high charges. Much of the revenue is derived from fees paid by the State Government for patients referred there by its General Hospitals. Again, if the Lagos State Land’s Bureau could publish the names and identities of beneficiaries of land allotees from 2000 to date, the scandal that will result is better imagined. Gbenga Ashafa, now a Senator, and Mrs. Awofisayo were the conduits through which these acts were being perpetrated. Both were also personally involved in various
dubious land transactions on their own.
dubious land transactions on their own.
Asiwaju Bola Ahmed Tinubu has acquired for himself a new private jet. The jet is a Bombadier Global Express XRS, the same type owned by Forbe’s richest man in Africa Aliko Dangote, Folorunsho Alakija and Mike Adenuga Jnr. Aviation experts say the luxurious asset would cost nothing less than
$50 million or more depending on specification. Reports say the jet was ordered from the US and facilitated in Europe. The Jet, which is the second owned by the politician, was allegedly purchased so that Tinubu would not be refuelling when he goes on long haul journeys.

Prime land and properties have been used to pay off public officials who are personally close to Tinubu and Fashola for “jobs well done” or for being privy to sensitive information, notably: (a) Dele Alake, former Commissioner for Information and Strategy, was sold a whole house on Alexander Road, Ikoyi where he lived as official quarters at a give-away price. (b) Rauf Aregbesola, Osun State Governor, who was a former Commissioner in Lagos as well as Muiz Banire, also a former commissioner, got detached houses at Ladoke Akintola Street, GRA Ikeja for their “good job” while serving under Tinubu. (c) Yemi Cardoso and Wale Edun, both former commissioners, were sold houses on Iru Close, and another location in old Ikoyi at give-away prices by Tinubu.
We call him the largest landlord in Lagos. These are wealth acquired through illegal means. But now, it is convenience for them to hide under Buhari and preach Integrity.
